26th April 2012
Windsurfing: felixstowe-Dip
Wind Direction: SSW
Wind Stength: F5/
Surf / Sea State: OK, bit lumpy
Air Temperature: 13
Sea Temperature: 8.4
Weather: cloud, shower, sun
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Down before 9 as could only sail early, and Ellen came to watch over me, even if she got bored "I never thought you'd be that long". 5.2m/85l and tried smaller 22.5cm fin which gripped OK really but better on 4.7m. Nice sailing. Mark D turned up with 4.2m and felt I was a bit overpowered at times so 4.7m.
Needless to say wind dropped to nothing as shower came then nice sail. Back up to 5.2m until about 12:45. Pete L also out. Wind a bit up and down and chose to be overpowered with 5.2m. Sea OK, bit bumpy in places and as tide came in shore dump started to build, interesting later I'm sure.
Towards the end was well overpowered and sun came out. Sure it was a great later
